About
date: 4 – 12 NOVEMBER 2016
Geneva International Film Festival Tous Ecrans has been exploring the relationship between cinema, television, and new forms of digital creation since 1995, with a programme based on one simple idea: Authors are at the heart of audiovisual creation and their viewpoints are expressed through our screens.
As a place where all genres and disciplines meet, the Festival fosters an attitude of celebration and experimentation. Six competitive sections enforce the discovery of new narratives and emerging talents (Features, Shorts, TV Series, Music Videos, VR Films and Web Series) while the out-of-competition programme (Serial Day & Night, Film & Beyond, Retrospective, Highlight Screenings, Rien que pour vos yeux, Nuits blanches, Transmedia, etc.) celebrates - in picture and music - the diversity and wealth of audiovisual arts.
Finally, the programme for professionals Geneva Digital Market (ex-Workflow renamed GDM), is dedicated to new digital trends.
