ISS HDEV Earth Viewing
04/07/2014 Flight over North Atlantic Ocean, England, Northern Germany with East Frisian Islands, Denmark, Poland and further to the southeast, to the signal loss of the radio transmission.
The ISS is moving at 8km / s over the earth's surface. In particular, the downward camera is suitable for a "real 3D" Edit: Warning, it is not to "fake 3D" or simple conversion from 2D to 3D!
First I use the freeware VirtualDub to reflect the streamed video both horizontally and vertically (which serves only to my personal
aesthetics in respect to the flight direction to change).
Then each (!) loaded the same clip as the left and right clip in the freeware Stereo Movie Maker.
Now one moves in the timeline, for example, for the right eye for a few seconds forward; during this time the ISS is some 10-100km flown, the result is a hyper stereo movie, stand out clearly in the hill country, but especially clouds.
To get no eye cancer, the two clips are finally placed horizontally and vertically to cover.
