-Article 1 : The organizer
The association « Prenez du relief » organize next 14th and 15th of november, 2014, the event « Courant 3D, the Angoulême meeting of 3D short films », a festival dedicated to short movies in 3D stereoscopic format.
-Article 2 : Registration
Is allowed to sign up for registration, any individual or corporate body (company, school, institute, agency) to have produced or coproduced a 3D stereoscopic film.
All submitted movies must have been completed after September 1, 2011.
The maximum duration for films to be registered is 30 minutes, including the credits.
All genres are accepted (including fiction, documentary, computer animated films...).
Not french-speaking movies must be subtitled in french or in english.

- Article 3 : Awards
All selected movies will take part within a unique competition awarded by several prizes : professional Jury Prize, Audience Prize, student Jury Prize.
All awards details will be annouced later.
- Article 4 : Deadlines
- Registration deadline is August 20, 2014.
- Deadline to receive the screening copy of your film is September 15, 2014.

-Provide your film with french or english subtitles if it is not a french-speaking movie

-Provide a Blu-ray disc copy without any region code
Dear producer, please be careful and check that your subtitles do not disturb or break your 3D pop-up effects
- Article 6 : screening copy format
Screening format required is 3D-DCP in 2K quality, with french or english subtitles if it is not a french-speaking movie.
-Article 7 : Selection and programming
There are two selection committees to choose the selected films, a professional and a student committee.
The choices of these committees will be definitive and unquestionnable.
The day and the hour each film will be shown are decided by the association.
- Article 8 : Shipment
- There is no registration fee, although delivery costs to send us a copy of a film are candidate responsibility and will not be refunded.
- Our festival will return DCP screening copies to sender. This return is free of charge for the sender, our festival will pay the return delivery costs.
-Article 9 : Rights issues
We would like to specify that we do not give fees nor money for the showing of the selected films for the Festival "Courant 3D", excepting rights to be collected by collective management societies, only if the film is registered by these societies.
The beneficiaries of the rights of the films give to the Festival, without consideration, the right to copy some excerpts of their movies, pictures, synopsis and/or other texts about their films, for all kind of medium, format or material, to be used for marketing and public relations of the Festival, including press and the internet. The Festival must not use films excerpts with a duration higher than 3 minutes, and must not use more than 10 percent of the duration of one film.
Producers also assure to have legal authorization to permit the Festival to show the whole film and to use excerpts of it, and assure to be in order and to have paid the rights for the film (including the rights for the music).
Moreover, for marketing and public relations of the official Selection of the Festival, the association "Prenez du Relief" organize screenings called "Courant 3D best-of", showing the best movies of the Festival. The beneficiaries who would like their film to be programmed in these events have to authorize "Prenez du Relief" to keep the copy used by the Festival. The beneficiaries will be contacted before each screening.
-Article 10 : Use of the selection copies
To permit us to promote the festival, the beneficiaries of the rights of the films agree to allow, without consideration, the festival to show to press and the media some parts of their movies.
Films will be automatically registered in the 3D short film market, and allowed to be seen by professional festival-goers in single viewer cabins.
The festival establishes a 3D short film archive library, this is the reason why the movies registered for selection will be kept by "Prenez du Relief". For a better storing and preservation, the association reserve the right to make a copy of the films on a new media or material. "Prenez du Relief" could have to use these media or materials for non-profit activities of the association.
- Article 11: Repeat Screening Courant3D
Screenings of selected films are held at courant3D, and traditionally receive repeat screenings Clermont Ferrand and Berlin and and this without any exception
The producer must inform his sales agent, his French distributor and the distributor of the repeat screening country of these obligatory repeat screenings.
-Article 12 : Terms and conds for entry in the Festival
To register a film for selection and to get part in the Festival, we demand you to agree all the rules and regulations given above this.

The two genuine HD pictures (left and right eyes) are squeezed horizontally by anamorphosis to have a format 960x1080, then both are juxtaposed (left eye on the left side, right eye on the right side) to make a new complete picture which format is 1920x1080.
