The 4th International Conference on Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and Computer Graphics (SALENTO AVR 2017) will take place in Ugento (Lecce), Italy from 12th to 15th June 2017 with the aim to bring together the community of researchers from academia and industry, computer scientists, engineers and physicians in order to share points of views, knowledge, experiences and technical results related to the applications of the technologies of virtual and augmented reality, 3D visualization and computer graphics.
SALENTO AVR 2017 solicits the submission of original contributions (full papers and short papers for oral or poster presentation) in the following areas of interest:
- cultural heritage
- military and space
Full papers should be mainly focused on research, applications or systems describing results that contribute to advances in state-of-the-art software, hardware, algorithms, interaction or human-factors.
Short papers should be mainly focused on work-in-progress, achievements of initial research, projects in early stages of development, case studies, etc. Accepted short papers will be published in the conference proceedings and presented at the conference as poster.
The contributions will be carefully evaluated taking into account originality, significance, technical soundness and clarity of exposition. Accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings that will be published in Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) edited by Springer.
SALENTO AVR 2017 provides exhibitors to showcase VR-related products as hardware, software, integrated systems, peripherals, innovative solutions and anything else of interest to our conference participants.
